  • Katyayani Ditox contains Diflubenzuron 25% WP. Diflubenzuron 25% WP is a urea-derived insecticide. It has a low aqueous solubility and is volatile.
    Based on its chemical properties, it is not expected to leach to groundwater. It is not persistent in soils but can be in water in some circumstances.
    It has a low mammalian toxicity. It is moderately toxic to fish, honeybees and earthworms but more toxic to aquatic invertebrates.
    Diflubenzuron is relatively non-toxic to birds and algae.

Mode of Action

Diflubenzuron 25% WP is a new type of insecticide which interferes with the formation of chitin during the moulting process of insect larvae. 

Example pests controlled: Sciarid flies; Armyworms; Leafminers, Whiteflies; Termites; Fungus gnats; Shore flies

Dosage : 

Katyayani Ditox is very effective against mosquito larvae control. The recommended dosages are as below :

  • Clear Surface water : 150—250 gm / ha
  • Polluted Surface Water : 250—450 gm / ha
  • Sewage pits, Latrines, Septic Tanks : 5 mg / Litre (Water)
